Take the official Mensa one. All those online ones are rubbish. I've gotten scores of anything between 85 and 120 in them.

and regarding the topic I don't think we're smarter than other Europeans (we use to play down us and see the neighbour garden's grass as greener)the fact is that since we're entered the modern era lately , if compared to say France or Netherlands , we've been also (mostly) spared by the worst backfiring aspect of modernity , political correctness , a thing that doesn't promote for sure smart behaviours.

In addiction we've also avoided inferior blood from Arabs/Turks (save a tiny amount in Sicily) and that also help in keep an adeguate level of intelligence.

The test are far from being representative of one's intelligence as a whole (and that's the only way the intelligence works), and it's highly dubious whether they're even indicative.

And IQ is not quite the same as intelligence.
Yes, I am quite aware of that. IQ represent's but a fraction of one's cognitive abilities, and only their quantifiable variables.

But genes in a region are hardly static. The gene pool in contemporary Greece hardly mirrors the one of its great past civilization. This can be said with just about the same amount of certainty with regards to contemporary Egypt and Ancient Egypt. (In fact, really all of North Africa changed drastically with the onset of Islamic conquests.) So pointing out the past greatness of Arabian civilizations (which I really think are a tad exaggerated at universities while Christian Middle Age European ones are demeaned in the interest of political correctness) really doesn't prove that people living in that part of the world today are all that intelligent on the whole. Most Arabs show IQs of around 85. And their actions (their willingness to follow a religion that preaches double standards along with their backward societies and social norms, and lack of respect for others) corroberate the case for for their lower IQ. We also know that Arabs were up to their neck in the African slave trade. (The Europeans were no customers at all for the slave traders next to them.) And we also know that past Arab populations absorbed tons of these lower IQ Africans into their population which may have lowered their IQ even further. (It's not disputed that many Arabs have African DNA and even some African phenotypes.) After all, black populations in America who are part white score 15 points higher on average than pure African black populations. One can't help but think this admixture plays some sort of role. Unless you think we're all blank slates. In that case, you might as well be a cultural Marxist. After WWII, Serbia (or was it Croatia?) experienced a 10 point drop in its overall IQ. I doubt this is a coincidence when you have a political climate that is dangerous for the intelligensia of a nation. I suspect this negative effect of killing off elites in countries is most felt in nations like Russia (which basically saw its whole elite class wiped out) and Iran. My feeling is that many countries are of a very different genetic stock overall than they were even 100 years ago. Afterall, isn't this type of genetic transitioning (nonwhites moving to white nations at the expense of culture) in the West the drive behind this whole forum?
