Supposedly I2a dinaric came to the Balkans with the Slavs. However, if this is true we would expect all Balkan nations to have dinaric-N and dinaric-S. However, dinaric-S is virtually non-existent in Bulgarians and Greeks. We would expect there to be similarity with Balkan Slavs if that is how this haplogroup got to the Balkans. However, if you look at the I2a haplogroup project on familytreedna.com you will see that the vast majority of Greeks and Bulgarians are dinaric-N. Why is this so? Does this mean that these haplogroups came at different times with different peoples?

Can you provide a link for their distribution, if you can?

Surprisingly, most Bulgarians and Greeks I2a are Dinaric North and have common ancestry with Ukranians and Poles, while most ex Yugoslavians are Dinaric South
