They're members of Consiglio di Stato/Conseil d'État/Kantonsregierung of Canton Ticino, the cantonal government of Italian-speaking canton. Classify and guess where they could pass.

Alpines and Alpine-Meds, plus one Nordid (Claudio Zali). They pass in the Alpine regions of Europe, unsurprisingly.

I think they look like normal northern Italians. Alpine region of Europe is where they pass. And southern France.

I second that.

These are the lightest and most atypical of Italians. However, googling ticino people I found a Mister Ticino contest:

^ These look as Italian as one can be: passing from Sicily to Ticino.

I always hear about blonde North Italians but when I visited I found almost the same faces of the South. some said that a lot of Northern Italians are actually from the South or their parents or grandparents came from the South. anyway, if this is true, it means Southerners replaced Northerners and we cannot speak about Southern Italian look versus Northern Italian look, because now it is leveled. most Italian look is either an East Med with some Alpinization and/or Dinarization, either the Alpine robust but rounded faces of Central Italy. and Swiss Italians seem to look just generic Italian, from Sicily to Lombardy

I'm wondering what's the origin of your butthurt. Because you are Romanian?

Mister Ticino contest is full of foreigners, you have posted the pic of the 2010 edition. The winner was Daniel Mkongo that is half from Kenya (he is the first on the left in the pic).

Do you really think that an half Kenyan is a more typical Italian? You're so pathetic.

People 'say I've been to North Italy' = I've been only to Milano. Which not only has people from Southern Italy, but from all over the world.

All of them are alpine
