Helsinki-ites can trade in their Bibles, Korans and other "holy" books for porn magazines on June 4.
The material received will be put to a useful purpose by recycling them. The event's purpose is to criticise the sex-negtive attitudes surrounding especially Christianity and Islam, and to promote a healhier alternative to religious literature.
"Pornography enables sexual arousal, both alone and in company. Sex, including masturbation, is according to sexologists beneficial to one's physical and mental health. The world would be a more relaxed and fun place if people traded their religious literature in for porn," says Tommi Paananen, Freethinkers Helsinki.
