Most likely the descendent of the British colonial soldiers when Britain was conquering the Ottoman Iraq during the Mesopotamian campaign at the first world war. Very unusual to have that perfect celtic pedigree with virtually no Arabic resemblances so it can't be some random atypical Iraqi.

I've seen quite some redheads in Southeastern Turkey, Northern Syria & Northern Iraq. More so than blondes. They were mostly Arabic (speaking) Christians or Assyrians. The only difference is that this guy has (sort of) European features. But I am not surprised he is Iraqi. Especially if he is Chaldean.

If he is Assyrian, he does not have "Turkish" roots. The only people Assyrians(Chaldeans, Syriacs) mixed with were Armenians. He is most likely 100% Assyrian, unless his ancestors actually mixed with Brits/Frenchies/Russians, which rarely happened. When it did happen, they usually moved to the respective country of the foreign parent.

I honestly think red hair is more common in the Levant than blond hair (in adults). I was in Istanbul this year and I saw a Syrian/Arabic man with bright red hair, blue eyes and freckles all over his face. And when I think about it, I actually know quite a few Iraqis (mostly Assyrians) and Syrians with red hair.

Nah bro still looks the same almost although closer he looks a ill different but nothing exclusively exotic. Probably has some alpine influence but that's typical of Eastern Europe too. Non East med , non Arabid , non iranid or anything else typical of Iraq. Doesn't have a typical pheno of even the most European looking middle easterners. There's whiter looking Turkish people but he's still atypical in that group. More Brits can pass better in Iraq then he does lol. But he could pass as Turk tho of the lighter types especially considering you said he has origins there on the other page
