He is a gypsy. He comes from a gypsy family. It's not that weird for a gypsy to be light. It's uncommon but not unheard of. Romanichals in Britain are often white looking and sometimes this look pops up in Eastern European gypsies too

Not necessarily. There's also a Hungarian Romani/Gypsy in Canada named Robi Botos who looks similar.

No doubt it comes from Euro admixture but just because a gypsy is light skinned or has blue eyes doesn't mean a small amount of gypsy blood. Papazov's family is dark and I imagine Botos' is as well. He just got the light features. Sometimes you see light Arabs and the like too, it doesn't mean they have 20% Arab blood. Genes are not so simple

it's a fact that gypsies aren't pure south asians (genetic studies on them prove this) but heavily mixed with europeans and the more mixed they are the lighter they are and the more euro they look. Their genetic makeup can vary greatly depending on the individual. Some gypsies can easily be 70-80% euro genetically(or even more)

the other day i saw an episode of "big fat gypsy wedding" on channel TLC and they showed a romanichal gypsy guy from usa who looked straight up anglo saxon, he was even lighter than a lot of white americans

I've seen the same show. Most of those people are Romanichal Gypsies. Romanichals are often very light.

I think he looks gypsy. I think he has gypsy features but just looks light. Depigmented gypsy.
