They look southern, western French even the Alsacien look darker* than average.

I'm not saying otherwise. But that De Colo surname is inexistent here, so it probably was changed or mispelled.

I would not know to say. Lauvergne haircut makes him quite off Euro. He also has a weird black eyes, I guess.

Joffrey Lauvergne definitely has a slightly mixed look. His father looks euro to me so perhaps his mom is not full French or some other ethnicity. His phenotype doesn't look quite right for where he was born (Mulhouse) but nowadays where you're born isn't an accurate indicator anymore.
