A school textbook teaches students that “there is no such thing as reverse racism” and that women can never be as sexist as men.

The passage, which appears to be taken from a “multicultural education series” book entitled Is Everyone Equal, states, “STOP: There is no such thing as reverse racism or reverse sexism (or the reverse of any form of oppression). While women can be just as prejudiced as men, women cannot be “just as sexist as men” because they do not hold political, economic and institutional power.”

In a sense, the text is correct, there is no such thing as reverse racism. Racism is racism, whether the target is white, black or brown.

However, that’s not the message being communicated. The book is teaching students that only white people can be racist and that only men can be sexist because….patriarchy!

This warped argument is also one repeatedly made by prominent social justice talking heads such as MSNBC’s Michael Eric Dyson, who once argued that it is impossible for black people to be racist.

Dyson disproved his own claim in July 2013 when he said during a discussion on the George Zimmerman trial that Americans would not understand racism until white kids were being killed in the same numbers as blacks.

“White Americans and others will feel that this was a justifiable verdict, this is how things happen. Not until, and unless, the number of white kids die that approximate the numbers of black and other kids who die, will America see,” said Dyson, failing to mention that 94 per cent of all black murder victims in the United States are killed by other black people.

Meanwhile, homeschooling in the United States is more popular than ever before and with kids being taught this kind of nonsense in schools, is it really any surprise?

Funniest part is assumptions like this prove the incredible racism of swarty folk. I don't object to white people being killed due to any connection to it, hell some of my decisions have gotten them killed and I don't stay up at night over it. White people care because they have a moral center, and to a lesser extent dislike chaos because they are smart enough to know it causes problems. But if they want a race war hey, I can't fucking wait. And here I thought I'd die of old age before it finally comes. I have a good idea who will win, in a fair fight it always seems to be ebul whitey. If it wasn't we wouldn't have our own countries in the first place.

Yes, and in South Africa the Black people have the power and White South Africans are discriminated against. But American schools do not teach this. Clearly they are not referring to old fashioned racism which involves insults between two more or less equal persons.
But this is referring to power, the vast majority of this kind of racism occurrences flows in one direction as opposed to the other kind of racism. The vast majority of positions of power both head (CEO, congressman etc.) and lesser (policeman, business owner) where abuse occurs plenty. Just look at how many more times blacks are arrested for possession of drugs despite consuming less than whites on average, secondly the number of times blacks have been shot at indiscriminately. However it would be unjust to dismiss the claims of the white people who are a victim of this type of racism because it does happen and is just as damaging.
The claim that racism is only one way can be concluded to be an radical extrapolation of the power and victim race dynamic; it may be incorrect in reality but for these people its a way of exaggerating the extent of the problem or bringing attention to the issue.
