A few years back our old EKP.org website ran a story about Bono’s (lead singer for Irish rock band, U2) defense of the infamous ‘Kill the Boer’ song, his belief that Nelson Mandela was “the greatest man in history” and claim the ANC, like its comrades in the IRA (the IRA actually helped train the Black Communist African National Congress), were “ideological brothers” in the “moral crusade against colonialism and oppression.”
Bono likened the Boer, who’d “centuries earlier raped and colonised South Africa” to the “British Empirical machine that had “colonised Ireland and the rest of the uncivilised world”. My guess his use of the term uncivilised, was done so sardonically.
Remarkably, in that same Interview, Bono compared the Arab Spring – funded by monsters in Washington, Saudi Arabia and Tel-Aviv; that’s since spawned the Islamist groups terrorising the Syrian, Kurdish and Christian Arab people, as one of the “great democratic movements the mid East had seen.”
Apparently, some 3 years on, this idiotic tax dodging hypocrite of a man, with more money than sense, still holds some of these shockingly asinine opinions. (Appears the Irish see through the man’s bullsh$%, yet we still give him a platform to spew stupidity.)
