In some ways, she is a very pigheaded woman.

Attack socialism as being anti-freedom, and then attack liberals that support free markets who respect freedom more than you do. All in one breath.

I agree with her regarding Brussels becoming like a EUSSR, and that Lega Nord is probably one of the better options to vote for nowadays.

Purtroppo al momento Renzi è il meno peggio in circolazione.

This woman expressed my thought well.

About one month ago I said the same thing while I was speaking about politics.

EU has taken some ideas from socialism (destroying frontiers and create a multiracial and multicultural country), but with a difference from real socialism: socialism did it for an ideological purpose (all men are equal, States just divide humans, etc.) and for a political reason (installing a large Russian minority in the satellite States of Russia - and this is visible in Estonia, Ukraine, Khazakistan, etc - to control these states better); but the EU is doing it for an economical purpose, for banks and corporations that can exploit a free marker, low pays, less protection for workers.

So yes, the EU is far worse than URSS or, if we want to say it better, it is a sweet URSS.

Where is the solution? IMO in overturning our actual economic system. We should give more opportunities to poors (schools that are really free, homes that are really cheap), more protection to workers (citizenship income and a guaranteed minimum salary; workers should not be blackmailable. I would extend statal factories with the obligation for them to remain in Italy), we should follow green energies and we should create a laic society where peoples and humans are respected for what they are and in which they can develop an authentic personality.

No omologation. No political correctness, no brands to define what you are.

As you can see mine is different from historical socialism, and it is very far from savage capitalism.

Other than agreeing that political correctness is terrible, I think you are (politically) the devil. You hate the EU because it is too capitalist, and I hate the EU because it is too authoritarian and not capitalist enough.

I am socialist and I know that in the USA it sounds like devil.

But to me capitalism is going to:

1) destroy the planet
2) create unsatisfied and unsatisfieble people
3) create more poors

Nothing is worse than people that value things and people basing on how much they cost/they earn.
Nothing is worse than people that values themselves basing on how they earn.
It creates degenarate, ignorant people willing to do everything for money.

"Destroy the world"? No, globalism is doing that, not capitalism.
Every system creates poor. No system will entirely remove the poor. Life is better for the poor now in the West than it was before.

Oh yes because capitalism is connected to consumism which requires energy and row material and produces pollution.
The USA alone produces 25% of all the global emissions.

IMO the happiest poors are Cubans -> comunist

And the BRIC countries are the ones whose emissions are increasing at an astronomical rate, not the United States, who are trying to cut their emissions.

That's why every Cuban who has the opportunity defects to the United States.

We are speaking about poors. I think that among poors Cubans are the happiest. Obviously everyone would emigrate to a richer country, given the possibility.
Has the USA ratified the Kyoto Protocol?

Has the USA ratified the Kyoto Protocol?
We never will. Bill Clinton signed it almost 20 years ago and the Congress told him to go to hell.

China, India, and the United States have all signaled that they will not ratify any treaty that will commit them legally to reduce CO2 emissions

So if China and India won't reduce CO2 emissions, why should the United States weaken their economy?
