There is. Germans are at least like three different populations (French-like, Nordic-like and Eastern European-influenced) and their mixes. Austrians are balkan-shifted, and there might be some similarity with Bavarians.

Sorry for the super late reply, I just found it by accident. I just post anything I got at hands at the moment, most of it is quite dated though.. If you need something specific feel free to ask. I'm AT3 at Eurogenes and I seem to shift a bit to the northeast from the rest, yet close to AT2. I asssume there is quite a big difference between Eastern and Western Austrians, much more so then North/South.

I scored pretty nordic (83.1% Northwestern European of which I am 52.2% French/German and 5% British/Irish, the rest broadly northwestern; 4.2% Broadly Southern European and 12.6% Broadly European. 0.0% Eastern European
