Hello,all!
I actually stumbled onto this site through my looking through the forums of the Asatru Folk Assembly and seeing it linked.From what I see so far I truly like and would be deeply honored to participate in the discussions of this group.My religion is that of the Asatru (obviously) and I'm deeply interested in upholding the interests of my people, socially, religiously, et cetera.As the heading indicates, I'm from Virginia, born and bred, as were previous generations of Goodings down to colonial times.As far as can be traced, my ancestors hail from England,Scotland,Northern Ireland, France,Germany, Switzerland and Sweden.My father's family more immediately hails from Virginia and Maryland, while my mother's family has roots in Tennessee,Kentucky and Louisiana.My politics are conservative in nature.My wife is a Texan with roots in Scotland, England and Germany.She's an extremely devout Republican.As time goes on, I'm looking forward to discussing views and sharing ideas.:D
