Kit M020637 (Yamnaya_Sok_River I0443), the main components were the North European and the Gedrosia ones. Gedrosia is missing in ancient Western Europeans, Mesolithic and Neolithic, so a IE origin is a possible explanation. So the Gedrosia component would be useful in tracking IE expansions in Western Europe. On the other hand, the Northern European may be a good proxy for tracking IE expansions in South Asia. Do you agree?

What does single population sharing mean? Wh

In that context, it means genetic distance to a single population, as opposed to mixed population sharing, which takes more than one population to get the best fit.

Gedrosia is linked with Ancient North Eurasian. But more like Eurogenes West Asian(Near East/ANE mix), without the WHG component.

These are Dodecad results. Using other tools, the results will generally correlate but they will not be exactly the same.

Haak paper uses higher ks (K16) which is more reliable. In the lower Ks many components are indistinguishable.

You can share more ancestry with Yamna but still be further away because the rest of your DNA is significantly more different. Most of Lezgian DNA is Yamna related but not Yamna descend. While for example Tajiks have more Yamna descend DNA but the rest of their non Yamna descend DNA is more different what pushes them away.

K12 is not capable to distinguish between non Yamna but strongly related and non Yamna and less related DNA. That is why Blogger calculators are not suitable for this.

Generally Yamna is closest to Udmurts/Mordovians followed by Lezgians and Russians.

Do you agree?

roughly yes,
But not every North European DNA is automatically Yamna type and not every West Asian is automatically Yamna type. lower Ks are not capable to disinguish them.

Lezgins are very different from Mordovians or Russians though, they're a Southern/Caucuses population somewhat similar to Georgians.

I still don't get how the # of Ks effect Fst distance. I didnt even know Fst distance had anything to do with K/cluster analysis.

They don't need to be similar to each other to be similar to Yamna. You are seeing it from a wrong perspective.

For example Russians have close to 0% Gedrosia but 66% North European.

Lezgians have 28% Gedrosia and 25% North European. Than there comes other genes which are close but not exactly the same.

With other words. Yamna is clustering in between Russians and Lezgians. with being slightly closer to Mordovians.
Lower and higher K's can definitely effect the estimation of Yamna admixture. Take a look at the Haak or Reich paper. Anyways as I said Blogger calculators are not perfect and most of them are not made for Yamna. Per reviewed papers are more reliable there.

I don't think that between is a good choise of word, they are almost equally distant, but both Russians and Lezgins have other admixtures, which pull them from Yamna.

The results are inconsistent with the Haak paper and K6 is far to low. If even Haak and Reich use at least k16.

It is not measuring the distance to Yamna. it only shows estimated Yamna ancestry. that is a big difference. You can have more Yamna ancestry and still be more distant from Yamna. If the rest of your DNA is too different or the other populations have more of the Yamna related ancestry even if it is not directly coming from Yamna.

But even the estimated Yamna ancestry is wrong.

You know it is a bad calculator if it's results are different from the actual per reviewed study.
