The Inuits look more like East Asians than Amerindians. Are they genetically more East Asian or more Amerindian? Since they do differ in looks from the traditional or sterotypical Amerindians.

Neither. They are their own race. Some of them do look very similar to Amerindians, though

Put that guy in some Northern Chinese provinces like Gansu or Qinghai and he won't seem out of place though.

Well genetically essentially the Inuit are a mixture of East Eurasian (East Asian/Siberian) type ancestors and ANE (Ancient North Eurasian) ancestors like true Native Americans are except that the Inuit have a larger proportions of genes from an East Eurasian source compared to most Native Americans who in most cases probably have more ANE ancestry than Inuits do overall. This is partially due to the fact that the ancestors of the Inuit came over a bit later and settled the Arctic areas of North America compared to the ancestors of the majority of Native Americans.

They are their own subrace of the mongoloid race.
