Here is a video that shows the DNA haplogroups of Italy. this video was made back in 2013. Need to update it. a new remake showing all the haplogroups found in Italy, with more info added. The origins of the Haplogroups etc.

In northern Italy, like the rest of Western Europe, R1b is the dominant haplogroup. In the south, you have roughly equal frequencies of J2 and R1b, as well as sizable amounts of E1b1b and G.
