But negritos are known to be really small statured. He looks husky.

I think he looks part African because some Polynesians are mixed with Papuan and Melanesian when Austronesians migrated from Southeast Asia, they passed through Melanesia and Papua New Guinea and mixed with the people there before settling in the Pacific islands.

Looks like his ancestry: Austronesian mixed with Australoid (Melanesian/Papuan). Normal unmixed hawaiian... Some looked like total Gypsies (Indians):

Of course this is not a coincidence: reduced Australoid was the main element in India, too, and it's very common among low castes today.
