80% of the population of Miskolc live in soviet style ferro-concrete block of flats.
The city looks like a soviet city in the Asian parts of Russia.

Not in the civilized parts of Hungary, but what about Alföld?

We all know how backwards that place is, remember, they have semi-asian orthodox infrastructure like Balkanites.

Árpád was the son of the 1st Grand Prince Álmos (Grand Prince of the Magyars). The Magyars were a confederation of lesser white khazar families, descendents of the Sarmatian Sephardi 6th century Jewish refugees.

Around 830, civil war broke out in the Khazar khaganate. As a result, three sub branches of white Khazars (7 tribes) led by Álmos and their black Khazar armies left to re-establish themselves in the region between the Carpathian Mountains and the Dnieper River -- an area they called the Etelküzü (Etel similar to Greek Enetoi "praisworthy/chosen" and küzü "land") --the Chosen Land.

Contrary to some history, there is no credible evidence that the white Khazars integrated with any non Sarmatian Sepharic culture from a leadership perspective. However, it is almost certainly true that a key to their sustained power was in integrating conquered tribes into their "black Khazar" armies.

In similar tradition to their Sarmatian Jewish forebears, there is evidence Grand Prince Álmos possessed two distinct titles - one as High Priest or "kende" and the other as head warrior or "gyula".

Upon the death of his father around 881, Árpád became the second Hétmagyar (head of the Magyar breakaway tribes).

In 894, Árpád and Kurszán negotiated together with the representatives of the Byzantine emperor, Leo VI the Wise the terms under which the confederation of the Magyar tribes was willing to assist the Byzantine Empire against Emperor Simeon I of Bulgaria.

In the spring of next year, the Magyar tribes attacked the Bulgarian Empire and defeated Emperor Simeon I, obliging him to conclude peace with the Byzantine Empire. Emperor Simeon, however, entered into an alliance with the Pechenegs, who were the eastern neighbours of the Hungarian tribal federation, and he made an attack against the Magyar troops. In the Battle of Southern Buh, Emperor Simeon I defeated their army; shortly afterwards, the Pechenegs attacked and pillaged their territories. The Magyar tribes were obliged to leave Etelköz and move to the Carpathian Basin where they settled down (Honfoglalás).

Slovaks do not go baths, because the descendants of primitive mountain goatherds do not need baths...
Turks built large baths centuries before French and English or GErman people.

As the Khazars rose to prominence, the Magyars were already subjects of their Empire from the middle of the 7th. to the end of the 9th. centuries. While other tribes were in continual conflict with the Empire, there is no record of a single armed conflict between Khazars and Magyars, even as each was warring with their neighbours such as the Volga Bulgars, Danube Bulgars, Ghuzz Turks, Pechenegs, Arabs and the Rus. The Khazar Empire had stood against the Arab conquests which had threatened Eastern Europe in the 7th. and 8th. centuries. European history would have been very different if the Khazar Empire had not existed. The Khazars affected or shaped much of Western Europe, and in particular the early Magyar nation in two important ways; firstly, they gave the Magyars a king, who was to found the first Magyar dynasty; secondly, several Khazar tribes joined the Magyars which would deeply transform their ethnic character.

Until the Khazars interferred in Magyar affairs, these had no king only tribal chieftains. The most notable was Lebedias, after whom Levedia is named on map above, he was offered the kingship of the Magyars by the Khazar Kagan but declined and said the honour should go to another chieftain called Álmos or Álmos' son, Árpád. Around 850 A.D., Árpád was made 'king' of the Magyars, and he would lead his people in the conquest of Hungary. His dynasty would reign till 1301. The Khazars were responsible for many such historical events. [Koestler]

At some time, three Khazar tribes, called the Kabars or Kavars belonging to the Khazars' own race, had rebelled against the Empire. They were either slaughtered or fled to settle with the Magyars. Around 895 A.D., the Magyars' association with the Khazar Empire came to an end when seven Magyar tribes and one Kavar tribe crossed the Carpathians and settled in the land which they would call home for the next 1100 years (purple area of the map on the right). Till the middle of the 10th. century, both the Magyar and the Khazar languages were spoken in Hungary.

If they had allotted a little bit more time to acquaint themselves to Finnish-Hungarian vocabulary comparisons resulting from linguistical research, they had noticed, in addition to those astonishingly close similarities, that there are even a bigger number of related words which are not right away recognized as such, e.g., Hung. k é z (hand) = Finn. k ä s i , Hung. v é r (blood) = Finn. v e r i, Hung. m é z (honey) = Finn. m e s i, Hung. s z a r v (horn) = Finn. s a r v i, Hung. v a j (butter) = Finn. v o i, Hung. e l e v e n (alive) = Finn. e l ä v ä, Hung. m e n n i (to go) = Finn. m e n n ä, Hung. r e p e d (to be torn) = Finn. r e p e ä ä etc.. which give a direct hint to a common origin. To notice similarities between Hung. f e j (head) = Finn. p ä ä, Hung. f é s z e k (nest) = Finn. p e s ä, Hung. f é l (to be afraid) = Finn. p e l k ä ä, Hung. f a k a d (to become fulfilled) = Finn. p a k a h t u a and other words is considerably more difficult, if you are not aware that the letter f in the beginning of the word regularly match the Finnish p. Or, the letter n in Finnish is often replaced by ny in Hungarian, as in Finn. n i e l l ä (swallow) = Hung. n y e l n i, Finn. m i n i ä (daughter-in-law) = Hung. m e n y. The long ő, met in the end of a Hungarian word, has previously been a diphtong öü or eü and even more previously ev. The consonant v in this is still often met in words like, e.g. Hung. k ő [the accusative case k ö v e t ] (stone) = Finn. k i v i , Hung. t ő (tree base) = Finn. t y v i and Hung. v ő (son-in-law) = Finn. v ä v y.

We know the story of Khazaria and how the Kagan chose Judaism over Christianity and Islam for his own religion. His famiiy also went along with his choice. Being such a diverse land, others could choose as they saw fit. It was quite democratic. Khazaria had also become a place of refuge, like an actual city of refuge found in Israel. Jews came here who found it unbearable under the government of other states for Jews who suffered from so much anti-Semitism. Islam had become very demanding for converts after Muhammad had died in 632 so this, plus the Christians after Constantine's rulings expecting all to convert, was too much.

Kiev in Ukraine, the magnificent "Mother of Russian Cities" had Khazaranians and Magyars living in it before Russia gobbled it up. It is on the banks of the Dnieper/Dnipro River. When in Russian hands in the days of Catherine II in 1791 was the ruler, it became one of the states of the Pale of Settlement that also included Latvia, Poland, and Belarus where Jews starting in 1795 under Russian government were allowed to live since Catherine didn't allow them to live in Russia. As it turned out, the less observant Jews tended to live here with the more orthodox living in Lithuania which was a center of Jewish learnin

"The large majority of surviving Jews in the world are of Eastern European descent - and thus perhaps mainly of Khazar origin. If so, this would mean that their ancestors came not from the Jordan but from the volga, not from Canaan but from the Caucasus, once believed to be the cradle of the Aryan race; and that genetically they are more closely related to the Hun, uigur, and Magyar tribes than to the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob".
