The prime minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip has outlined his ambitions to turn the country into a so-called Nordic tiger.
Andrus Ansip told delegates at the Reform Party's general assembly that becoming the fastest-growing country in the region should be Estonia's next goal.
Earlier this month, the nation was given the go-ahead to join the eurozone in January next year.
Ansip pointed out that Estonia is "already one of the most integrated countries in the West in the Nordic region".
"We are a member in the European Union, NATO, the Schengen area, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development and rather soon in the euro area," he explained.
Estonia is therefore in a good position to move forward and create a strong business environment for investors around the world, he insisted.
The prime minister said education, energy and the economy would be the main issues to focus on over the next four years.
