There's that urban myth I've been hearing for years now in the place I go to college at, about how a highschool professor was writing down final grades into the journal (that's how we do it here, not sure how it's elsewhere), and he tells one of the kids he's fluffed the class, so the kid pulls out a knife and says "Repeat that", and the professor pulls out a pistol and says it again.

But for each story like that there's two accounts of professors being beat up by kids for fluffing them.

Tactical bluff.

Nobody will entrust millions of dollars of data in some Professor's personal laptop.I don't know in which subject this professor teaches and what credentials he has but professors are generally not in the payroll of Federal affairs nor do they have anything to do with them.

Even my own lectors most of which are in high branches of law enforcement or politics do not have classified information on their personal devices and they aren't allow to take any.

Either this professor was really mad about the fact that all his test blanks and answers will be copied or he has some sort of porn in there.

Universities often collaborate with military and corporates one example is mit in usa with darpa for creating military technology.Nothing unusual here.i dont know if he was bluffing or not but it may be possible that he carried his work files to his pc.

He clearly said that he was a consultang to various companies.
