MAZAR-E-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Dressed in Afghan National Army (ANA) uniform, a three-member militants’ group stormed the attorney general’s regional offices in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of northern Balkh province, killing 10 people and wounding 28 more.
The well-armed militants mounted attack on the attorney general office at around 12: 00 pm, witnesses said. Abdullah, an eyewitness account, said that the militants forced their way inside the offices and locked in intense gun battle with security forces.
Ambulances were seen heading toward the scene and the area had been cordoned-off by security forces. However, he had no details into casualties.
