Friulans/Furlans can have some recent genetic influence from Slovenes (and vice versa Slovenes from Friulians) but Venetians? I don't think that Venetians have recent genetic influence from Slavic people, except from the Dalmatians and the so called Schiavoni.

They do have a bit of a Slovenian or Croatian look; but it wouldnt blow me away if I saw them in Venice. However I think a lot of these guys aren't typically Venetian looking. More Dalmatian.

These guys are from Vicenza province, not from Venice. And some has even a southern Italian surname.

Venetians don't tend to look Balkans, I think, or at least I haven't noticed that they do. Maybe Slovenes. I don't really know many Slovenes though.

Balkan does not equal Slavic. If anything, the Balkans is the least Slavic region since so much of the pre-Slavic population still survives today. The same couldn't be said about Czechia, Slovakia or Hungary.

These guys are from Vicenza province, not from Venice. And some has even a southern Italian surname.

They are located too western to have much to do with Slovenes. I am not very familiar with Venetian look, but not quite what I imagined plus people posted look lighter than some group or average people from Dalmatia or Istria. That and talk about Slavs just made me bring up Slovenes.

I do agree that are located too western to have to do with Slovenes (on the contrary Friulans border with Slovenes). And the guys in the pics come from an area that had some influences from the Cimbrians.

Btw it doesn't exist a unique "Venetian look". Veneto extends from the Alps to the sea, while Dalmatians and Istrians are generally people who live in coastal areas near the sea.
