Erm. Hello. I've been looking around on this site for a bit. And finally, I decided to make an account.

I'm incredibly interested in my heritage so I took a DNA test from Ancestry DNA. From there, I decided to go on to Eurogenes K13 and input my DNA Data there. Anyways. This is what came back. Is it typical for Mestizos to have majority European DNA?

Yes, most mestizos have are more European than anything else. The average Mexican citizen, for example, is around 55-60% European, depending on what study you believe is more accurate. You appear to be over 70% European. Where are you from?

On my Maternal Side however. It gets complicated. My Great Grandma is half Portuguese and Half Mexican. Apparently. People think that my Great Grandpa's father had Red Hair. This makes my Grandpa pretty admixed as is. My Grandma however, is completely European. She is just a mix of a lot of things.

So your mother is 1/8 Portuguese, and 1/2 European in general. So your mother is 5/8 European, 3/8 Mestizo, and you're 11/16 Mestizo, 5/16 European. Considering you're about 7/10 European genetically, we can assume your mestizo side averaged around 55% European before the recent European admixture, which is about average for Mexicans :)

Well, 27%, plus a possibly 2% if the Siberian and East Asian is misread Native rather than minor European contributors. Fairly substantial. Less than 30%, though.
