And I also love this:

Tip:
you can also have that by mixing an old white and an old black nail polish together. ;) That way you can control the analogy and create the exact shade of gray that you like!
Pour drops of black in the white bottle, NOT vice versa!!

Green is my favorite color, so I approve. But normally for my nails I either stick with no polish at all or a deep red, especially this one

I've always rather enjoyed a "preppy look"--argyle, houndstooth, classic cuts, that kind of thing. Hmm pics would help...

Anything from L.L. Bean (or look-alike) works for me for casual wear from chinos, to capris, to boatneck pullovers to fisherman's (aran) sweaters to Adirondack barn jackets:

I have two delightful satin nuisettes by Etam that I cannot get over...
http://blog.ohmymode.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/nuisette-207x300.jpg

And a gorgeous Satin silk thigh-length red robe I got for christmas.

Now that it is summer there is one item I really like; Daisy Dukes
http://www.fatbackmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/heidi-montag-daisy-dukes-3.jpg

I like them because they are quite easy to dress up and down and accessorize... you can basically pair them with anything for a wide range of looks, from casual to clubbing etc.

I was gonna post the "Spartan" sandals as we call them in French but I see Absinthe beat me to it :P

And of course there is nothing like dancing the night away in a pair of stiletto sandals before slipping them off and walking home to the sound of waking birds...

I meant more like striped rugby polos.

The ones at LL Bean are in colours I don't like. And the vast majority of US outlets online make one buy in bulk. :(

Rugby shirts =/= Polos. The Ralph Lauren site has a "build your own rugby" shirt but they make you choose a logo, have crappy colours and are mad expensive. All the best rugby shirts I've found are exclusively on British sites.

Found a good solid one for a reasonable price on Land's End.com

The white stitching is a bit much, that's for sure. I'm usually pretty conservative when it comes to clothing, but now and then I'll permit myself to get away with one unusual item. I'd wear these with a pair or jeans or whatever.

Although, I usually prefer open laces; and also bright green shoes might present problems in the belt department.

It may be English but I really like this style. If only the gentlemen of today would be wearing a hat and suit again when in public - with the common man wearing a suit and a tweed cap (which was also quite common here in the Netherlands).

The shirt is from ProperCloth.com, an online custom shirt maker; I highly recommend them. They let you choose measurements and collar/cuff style, as well as some other choices. I'm sure the men's shirt size situation isn't quite as dire in Europe, but in America it's impossible for a thin man to buy dress shirts in stores that don't make him look like he's wearing a bedsheet.

Harness boots made a brief comeback circa 2005, and that's when I got my first pair of harness boots. I've been wearing them ever since. In fact, I just had to get another pair last October because my old ones were so ratty. I've actually been seeing brown ones around NYC this past fall so they may reappear yet again.

And another fashion I love...

http://www.articlesweb.org/blog/wp-content/gallery/feather-hair-extension/feather-hair-extension-10.jpg

So much good going on here.

(1) Nice haircut

(2) Great jacket. The pattern, texture, and cut are all great, IMO.

(3) The tie looks to be wool, which is always a nice change of pace.

(4) Great collar.

I can only imagine he's wearing a nice tie clip as well.

It's a far cry from wearing a suit but it's beautiful. The barong tagalog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barong_Tagalog) (or Tagalog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tagalog_people) dress) is a traditional Filipino (mostly male) garment and is worn during official occasions and even wedding ceremonies:

Judges (lawyers wear something similar):

And ministers (church):

More can be found here (http://www.toga-atelierschout.nl/advocaten/advocaten-togas/advocaten-toga-zuiver-wol-ultra-licht-gewicht.html) (it's a professional website though for those that need to order robes for their jobs). Civil servants that perform wedding ceremonies also wear robes. I like that tradition.. a lot.

Bow ties. They look pretty good if they're small, and the person wearing them is pretty trim. I own a few, and I love 'em.

Canvas slip on shoes. I love my plain white and black Vans slip ons. Wear 'em with trim fit jeans when I don't feel like wearing chinos and loafers. I hate laces, so they're perfect. I don't like the patterned shoes, though. Or when kids buy 'em to paint on 'em.

Marilyn's make-up artistm Whitey Snyder was an absolute genius.

Here one can see the white eyeshadow base on the eyelids, coupled with the natural brown looking liquid eyeliner, probably a powder painted on wet above the upper lash line. It looks so natural.

It looks as though the same colour was used for the eyebrows, the tip of the nose (to gracilise it) and shading in the eye sockets, and of course, the fake 'shadow' below the upper eyelashes, which made those lashes look so much more lush.

Amazing make-up, amazing techniques, amazing beautiful Marilyn.

Firstly, (and most importantly) I love the cut and the shape of the dress
and the way it compliments the figure and fits nicely against the body curves,
(without being too tight, too low-cut on top, or overly-revealing in both the cut and material,)
and it brings out the natural elegant beauty of the shoulder line curves and the neck curves.
(I'd like to see a view of this dress from the side and back angles too.)

Secondly, I love the soft material - it's elegant, feminine,
and it's light, breathable, and comfortable-looking soft material,
without being transparent.

Thirdly, I love the soft ruffles which looks like the shoulder, top, and bottom parts of the dress
have the versatility to be adjusted to exactly how you want it fit,
by being able to slightly adjust the dress down a bit at the end, and at the shoulders, etc,
so it looks like it will give the perfect fit,
and I love the soft wrap-over effect across one of the shoulders.

Fourthly, I love the soft muted creamy tone which complements her pale skin tone,
(I prefer soft cream to white, as white is a very harsh tone,
compared to soft beiges, off-white creams, muted greys and softest palest pinks tones,
which are all tones which looks nice against a natural pale skin tone,
but I also think these tones will look nice against most skin tones.)

To summarize; I simply love everything about this beautiful and elegant dress,
and also the finishing gentle touches of the dainty purse-handbag,
the delicate jewellery, and the soft and tousled hairstyle, gently swept to one side too.
The make-up is nice, minimal, clean, natural and soft, and it's harmonious with the hair and dress.

I must say is the wigs (https://www.besthairbuy.com/wigs/) of BestHairBuy:p:p:p 69175
I love the wigs. The hair is soft and full and it holds a curl nicely. I feel like I look like a million bucks in this unit. Of course, I did have to have my stylist cut some layers in and add a little more curl. You will love this wig and for such a great price. Only thing as with most lace units I wish they offered a darker lace for women of color.
