Hello. I did a test a while back on Ancestry DNA. I was just wondering if Ancestry is actually fairly accurate. Here's the DNA Test along with a picture of me and my mother.

After 23andMe, it's probably the most accurate accurate test on the market today. The Continental-level breakdowns (Native/European/African) are pretty accurate but they seem to have some trouble accurately distinguishing between groups within Europe. In my case, it's quite possible that a significant amount of your Spanish ancestry has been listed as Italian of Western European, rather than Iberian. If you don't mind my asking, what is your ethnicity? Mexican American?

Yes. My ethnicity is Mexican American. With a lot of European admixture down the line.

Sorry. I do not. I don't think you actually can do that though. Also, my family is not all Mexican. So, I guess I am not really a good example of other Mexicans.
