Shafaq News / A commander in Peshmarga Kurdish forces in Nineveh announced on Tuesday, that his troops repelled ISIS attack launched north of Tal Afar, stressing that 40 terrorists were killed.
“ISIS elements began at five in the morning time their attack on the front pieces of Peshmarga forces in al-Maleh village north of Tal Afar, adding that Peshmarga responded strongly to the attack during a few hours of confrontation and fighting, managed to defeat the attackers and forced them to retreat Brigadier , Kamel Harki , one of the leaders in Dohuk of Peshmarga forces said in the official website of Kurdistan Democratic Party, followed by “Shafaq News”.
He added that Peshmarga was able to inflict great losses in lives of about forty people as 14 bodies of them were taken by Peshmarga forces, after the terrorists fled, leaving them behind.
