Long time lurker. Here's my first post then...

Can you classify this profile picture?
Sorry it's the only I have from him.
Hope head shape is enough to determine an approximate classification.

Cromagnoid of some type.

Some kind of robust mediterranean type, but can we have a front picture? Welcome to the forum, btw.

Hmm, OK I'll try to find one.

Thanks

I asked him about a front picture and he sent me those two:

Ignore the headgear :p

Yes, a coarse Mediterranean type.

The boxer shorts on his head make for a nice touch. ;)

east Med with some Balkanoid

Just to clarify, the subject in the photos is not me, so ignore what my profile writes.

Also East-Meds to my knowledge are relatively refined, Cro-Magnoid meds on the other hand are rather coarse.

I'm a bit confused how can both co-exist as his characterization.

Anyhow thanks for your answers.

Well if he is Greek then it would make sense. Warlike Cromagnids from the Danube basin moved southwards and banged the hot gracile Med babes and out popped the ancient Spartans for example. Agrippa, eat your heart out.

Oh, the frontal shot makes much sense now! I agree with East Med with some cro-magnoid influences (more robust than ordinary med type). Doesn't he *kind* of look like Pete Steele? :D

Italian coarse med?
He doesn't give me an Eastern vibe, btw.

Punkt? Why? My classification stands, and I never made an ethnicity guess. :)

East Med in France? Maybe if he's an immigrant.

Do you recognize him now?

Well his father is definitely Greek, as for his mother I can't know (I don't think that he knows either). Mainly that's why I posted him here, sth about his eye area (if one's to exclude the size) seems decidedly non-Greek. Maybe sth one could find in France maybe even in some parts of Germany...

Maybe you people can help me (and him) ;)

Sry for double posting (and resurrecting the thread).

But I've read lately that the East-Meds to be called as "Pontic", are those terms referring to the same classification, or simply east-med(s) is/are the the eastern variant of Atlanto-Meds?

Does the guy above (of which I posted the profile) is closer to Atlanto-Med or Pontic, therefore?

Thanks (I had some argument with the guy over this :))

Sorry for the thread (re)-ressurection, that ought to be the last...

He says that his mother was/is from southern France.
He also insists thats he has no Cro-Magnid, send me those two to prove me the point:

Anyhow I guess Med with a little Balkanoid is what's right -like sb above said-.

...Even though there's sth foreign about him (for a Greek), I just can't quite put my finger on it. Any help I would gladly accept (from those who know/are-from around here)
