Set 2 is a lot of Gracile and East Med that would not fit in France. But the first set also does not pass. So "equal" I think.

I said that they both equally represent france because I think one represents southern france more or less and one represents northern france more or less.

i think she could as atypical. if she had a french surname people wouldn't quesiton it much. but she clearly looks much more exotic than your average french

She can pass french in the southwest or southeast, you can find some like that in the north even, mostly by recent internal migration. She would probably have an Italian or Spanish surname but hey :D Usually it's the other way around, Northerners tend to settle in the South-East (sunbelt effect) That's what makes the cote d'azur some kind of bermuda triangle of looks combining north, germanic, italic influences all at once.

Set 2 is a tad too southern for France as a group.
Individually all from set 1 can be found in France.
Individually some from set 2 can't pass in France.
Therefore by this logic I voted for set 1.
