If she told me i wouldnt call her liar but wouldnt be my first guess, she just looks like a lighter pigmented black but not mulatto . her like most half blacks have a non hispanic look to them. I guess because their white side usually isnt mediterreann like mulatto hispanics are

Michelle rodriguez and dania ramirez look mixed to me espcially dania ramirez they dont look european or mestizo And idk about 40 to 50 ive read that the average is 35 perxent african which makes sense. Georpe lopez is only 32 percent native and looks very native for a mestizo

A lot of Cape Verdeans here are in the same range -- 25-50% African. Don't go by Google Images where nearly every photo is from Santiago, the blackest island in Cape Verde.

I dont disagree its just that i know when someone likely has some black blood even if its not predominantly. And your examples are good but i think the third one is best. Yes. Dominicans are mostly mulatos (mix of white with black), that's the reason she fits the dominican look (at least in my opinion).

Ive never met a Cape Verdean in real life .You wrote a couple posts above that google images are innacurate and you gave me gentic results so Ill take your word for it. The girl you was originally talking about can only pass on the blacker end of the spectrum of all those. Shes exactly 50 percent so it makes sense. My first guess would be afro american. Even with the blacker latinos. When i think of latinos i think of a more mediterreann native mix with some black in some cases but not predominantly black

Dominicans don't have much Native relative to the other two (European and African) but there are a lot more Afro-Latinos than you think. Anyway I am not obsessed with Dominicans but I see a lot of them both at school and in my area and the average is probably 40% African, 40-50% European and then 5-10% Native.
