The only East Asian I know who has done a 23andme on here is Goujian.

Usually 99-100% East Asian.

I can't remember usernames (they all look alike) but one Filipino member gets a few percentage points of European, etc. But we have a couple of pure Han who are almost or actually 100% East Asian.

On GEDmatch the same, nothing or at the most noise level for West Asian populations. Some South Asian.

That's why I don't have much of a motivation to do a 23andme, I'm pretty confident it's just going to come out 100% East Asian. If I do have any Caucasoid, it would most likely be from a strain of my family from Northwest China, a region with many peoples who have Turanid roots, and have also historically absorbed many Persian and Arab trading communities from the Silk Road.

I doubt it LOL. I don't have any family ties to that province. But sometimes I see these videos of Kaifeng Jews, and I just can't help but feel they are a bunch of posers trying to cash in on MUH ISRAEL. LOL

I found some distant cousins who are adopted half koreans and some others who married koreans and their kids are half korean. One is 50% East Asian, with about 36.6% being Korean, almost 10% Japanese, and almost 3% Mongolian.

Another one I guess is half Korean and is 51% East Asian , 23% Korean and 22% Japanese, 3.5% Chinese, a little Mongolian and a little bit broadly East Asian.

China is diverse, ethnic Han Chinese too. The ones closer to Manchuria or living in it have more north east Asian autosomal.
However in Central and especially Southern China, the S-E Asian genetic component starts to dominate and that makes them closer to Vietnamese than to Japanese, Koreans or Mongols.

China is truly East Asia.
Korea, Japan are North East Asia.
Vietnam, Cambodia etc are South East Asia.

Chinese aren't closer to Japanese than to Vietnam genetically per see, save maybe Chinese from Manchuria (Tungusic Jurchen people's land).
