Such a lovely family. The mother looks great for giving birth to twelve beautiful boys. Society needs more large white families like this one.

ROCKFORD, Mich. (AP) — A western Michigan couple with 12 sons are waiting to find out whether baby No. 13 keeps the streak going.

Jay and Kateri Schwandt's baby is due Saturday, the day before Mother's Day. They're sticking to their tradition of not finding out in advance whether they're having a boy or girl.

They said they'd be shocked if the baby is a girl.

"The odds are not in our favor," Kateri Schwandt, 40, told The Grand Rapids Press (http://*******/1caghwk ). She said she doesn't have her heart set on having a girl this time.

"It doesn't matter at this point," she said. "If we had a little girl, that would be neat. But I would be just as happy if we had a little boy."

"Your children are a little piece of you. Every day is Mother's Day," she said. "They will bring me flowers that they pick in the yard. Even if it's a dandelion, it's special because they were thinking of Mom. "

This woman is a true warrior. Every feminist should learn from her.

Reminds of this woman, who is a mother of 10. She is also a fantastic photographer.

It’s no surprise that the daily demands of raising 10 children would keep professional photographer Lisa Holloway incredibly busy, but the Kingman, Arizona, mom wouldn’t have it any other way. “Being a mother is the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done in my life, and I can’t imagine anything that would be better than this,” she tells The Weekly Flickr.

If the 13th is a girl I doubt she'll ever get much trouble, not with 12 big brothers to look out for her :D

Jay and Kateri Schwandt, Couple With 12 Sons, Welcome 13th Boy

Jay Schwandt and his wife, Kateri, have 12 sons and he was hoping their 13th child would be a girl. He didn’t get his wish.

Kateri Schwandt, 40, gave birth to another baby boy today, several days after her due date.

The baby weighed about 9 pounds and was 22 inches long, and after the birth his mother told ABC News that she was feeling “pretty good.”

They’re now deciding on names, with Jay Schwandt saying the baby's brothers would need to agree on the selection.

Even though Jay Schwandt had said he wanted a girl, he told ABC News that "being a dad, having 12 boys, one more boy is pretty cool."

The couple from Rockford, Michigan, has observed the tradition of keeping their children’s gender a surprise.

During an appearance on “Good Morning America” last week ahead of Kateri Schwandt’s May 9 due date, and she said she assumed she’d have another boy.

And when their 12 sons -- Tyler, 22, Zach, 19, Drew, 18, Brandon, 16, Tommy, 13, Vinnie, 12, Calvin, 10, Gabe, 8, Wesley, 6, Charlie, 5, Luke, 3, and Tucker -- were asked to raise their hands if they wanted another brother, only three of them did.

In a prior interview with ABC News, Jay Schwandt, who does land surveying for commercial real estate properties near the family’s home, said his wife was “pulling for another boy because that’s in her comfort zone.”

The Schwandts manage their household of rough-and-tumble boys through a system of flow charts and chores.

“There’s a lot of activity, a lot of commotion, a lot of chaos, but there’s also a lot of love,” Kateri Schwandt said.

As for whether there will be a baby No. 14, Jay Schwandt said: “You never say never.”

See, now feminists would say this woman is not really a woman, she's happily married with a large family she loves thats not a true feminist.......

I always find it idiotic the way feminists degrade mothers, because raising the next generation of people to take over the world isnt really all that important or anything, certainly not nearly as important as those TPS reports and Pamelas cake on Friday for her retirement from the call centre.
