I was living in Serbia at the time, though not close to any strategically important targets, I wouldn't really call it stone age, they bombed us into a premature school vacation and once in a while you'd have to duck under a doorframe when the sirens sounded...Only time I got really scared was when they ran a name of some guy who had the same name as my dad on TV amongst the casualties, we were pretty tight up until he returned home from work that day.
