Cypriots are genetically Levantine, not Greek, even though they identify as Greek because of their language and religion.

Yupp they have a very stereotypical levantine and although Cyprus is recognized in the European Union it's also part of west Asia and the eastern mediterean. Not many if any at all look like Greek mainlanders But there's some that could pass as islanders. Some look like you but most are stereotypcal levantine looking i actually wouldn't be able to tell a Greek Cypriot from a Lebanese to be honest .cyprus had empires held by the Assyrians , Persians and Egyptians besides the Phoenicians.
