Metrics are way more improtant than pigmentation. There are brown haired people in Sweden who are metrically perfectly nordid. I don't know about italic rats but people on this site generally classify based on pigmentation.

Most Italians with Germanic phenotype are descendants of - Ostrogoths, Langobards and Normans. And these tribes had other phenotype - Baltic Sea countries people (Scandinavian, Tronder, Baltic,..)
