I'm impressed. Finally a person who has made a relatively accurate video about Belgium and managed to summarize it in 10-minute video.

Of course some tiny mistakes were made. Belgium didn't really have a colony in China in the true sense on the Eastern bank of the Hai River in Tianjin, but a 'concession' which was of little value to make a true colony. Interesting there exist pictures of Belgian colonists over there. I didn't know that. A railway company along with its Belgian staff remained active after it got handed over to China and they were sent to Japanese concentration camps in 1943.

Other mistakes are naming mistakes like calling the Flemish government the 'Dutch government'. While I'm anything but offended (rather the contrary) he's half right. Before 1980 the Flemish Community used to be often called 'Dutch Community' just like they still call the French-speaking part 'French (sic) Community' officially.
At least he did correctly call our language Dutch and not Flemish as most anglophones like to do (BBC, English travel guides, most Americans and Brits on YT).
