Iceland warms up our OAPs
HARD up British pensioners are being helped to keep warm by bankrupt Iceland.
Despite the fact that their country has run out of money kind Icelanders didn’t hesitate when asked to aid our old folks.
They have donated a container full of jumpers, socks and blankets which is being shipped over to Britain.
The Icelanders were shocked when they heard how badly looked after our pensioners are in the winter.
They couldn’t believe it when they heard on the radio that one in 12 pensioners may die in winter.
And they were horrified to learn how little our government does to help out our OAPs.

Neil Duncan-Jordan spokesman for Britain's National Pensioners Convention said: "This is a fantastic and generous act of compassion from the people of Iceland, particularly at a time when their own economic situation is extremely difficult.
