Typical southern Italian tarantella. What has to do with south America?

Nice music.
Ive seen them play they are good. They have old diatonic button accordions but still make good music

He looks like a Cypriot, but an exotic one. He is around the range of the top 10% most "exotic" south Italians.

Yeah you're right !

My point was to show you that there are more Italians with this kind of phenotype who are easier to find in Calabria.

The boy on the left has a similar phenotype and this is what I wanted to show him. It didn't even took me much time to find one.

However I don't care for these silly outdated classifications; for me he looks just southern Italian

The boy on the pic seems to be rather from Eastern Mediterranean Area or Northern Africa than from Italy. The Italians from Calabria I know do not look like him.

On the other hand, I do not know wether that boy on the pic is really Calabrese - even Italian - or not. I do not know his closest ancestry either.

Definitely not typical, although it's possible he's Calabrian for sure.

Can the OP share his source for verification?

I had only clicked on the last pic but in the first he has a north African vibe to him, however this still doesn't mean, he can't be Italian. Maybe he's just ugly :p

There is no real certification in a way the person says they are calabrese , if you must know I got these pictures off the profile of said person ( not TA user )and he lives in calabria currently as well.

A surname can help as well as checking other familymembers as well.

I believe you.

Only AC Milano...Come on man :picard2:

The other guy made it sound like he couldn't. Personally I think he does look European but on the islands (Sicily, Malta, Crete, Cyprus) in addition to southern Italy. He doesn't look too different from me minus the Slavic influence.

He looks Tunisian, as so many other Calabrians. Considering they generally lack Italic features or indigenous CM influences, Calabrians are among the least European-looking groups in Europe (deriving nearly all of their ancestry from Near Eastern Neolithic settlers)...

Calabria and Sicily are genetically more or less as Neolithic as it gets; the same is true of some Campanians, but for some reason in Apulia they are considerably lighter/more "European" in a classical sense.
