These are only a select few of the images. I'm quite intrigued by the Sephardic-Sicilian. I always thought my Jewish was Ashkenazi as my maternal third great grandfather was Polish however I only get 0.1% Ashkenazi. I thought the reason I get Sicilian in certain calculators was for some weird representation of my Croatian, maybe its not. It's highly possible I have Sephardic ancestry as well I suppose. My top 3 African populations might fit in with my North African score on MDLP calculators. Quite distant but the distance between North Morocco and Algeria is similar. It might be similar to most Western Europeans as well.

Congrats on your results mate.

There was actually Sephardi migration to Ashkenazi areas although most assimilated with Ashkenazim.

Thanks man. That has crossed my mind. I get quite a bit of Italian on different Gedmatch calculators such as MDLP and Eurogenes. I always thought it was representing my Croatian but is Italian DNA different to Balkan? If it is, maybe the Italian is representing the Sephardi in some way. In the Eurogenes K13 and K15 I get quite a bit of Tuscan in the 4 Oracle. Can Tuscan represent Jewish/Balkan or is it specific to Italy?

here is mine

Total Ancestral Fit: List of All Populations This portion of your report ranks the similarity of your ancestral composition to all worldpopulations in our database, including native populations as well as modern diasporicpopulations that have migrated or mixed in the past 500 years. Each population listing includes:the ranking of your similarity for that sample among all world population samples; the name of the population sample; and the map section where that population is illustrated. Some things I've noticed looking over my results:

1. My North African populations are slightly lower and closer grouped than the sample European American data. This hints to me that the North African I pick up in MDLP may be well founded. North Morocco and Algeria seem the most likely.

2. Native American is something I've always ignored because I have no American ancestry however these results have me curious. I pick up <1% on some calculators. The European American sample has Eastern Greenland at a distance of 176 first which I guess makes sense in terms of closeness to Europe. My first population is Aymara La Paz Bolivia at 183 which is ranked at 257 for the European sample. I have no idea why this is and don't assume I have Bolivian ancestry however I don't know what the software has read to order my list like this. Is the only way to have a population like this to have ancient South American ancestry?

3. I've assumed my Asia Minor score on myOrigins was linked to my Croatian, however its possible it might be partly linked to my Eastern European. On the Eurogenes K36 I get over 3% North Caucasus which adds some weight to this. On the DNA Tribes plot the North Caucasus populations are slightly lower than the Turkish. I only have 2 Turkish matches on 23andMe, one of which states he isn't fully Turkish and has Armenian ancestry.

Obviously I'm not making definite decisions simply based off this source, however it throws another spanner into the works and opens up some options and thoughts.
