Firstly, Sorry for all the stupid autosomal DNA questions lately. I'm not very good with the DNA aspect of genealogy but it fascinates me and I want to learn more.
So, an online Polish friend of mine told me that in his "One to many" matches on GEDmatch all his top results were Americans with mixed Polish ancestry. Like an American that's a quarter Polish or something. most of his top matches are like that and people actually from Poland come later.
Is this common? Why does it happen? Wouldn't it make more sense that all the actual Poles would be at the top?

He also had quite a few Czechs in his list, he says, but that's not too surprising to me.

It depends. Are there many 100% Poles in gedmatch?

Because there are much more Americans who've done genetical tests than Poles.
