Question how welcoming and guest friendly are indians

to outsiders, tourists and immigrants, does it depend on something like how much money you have or how white your skin is or your ethnic or social background

I don't know about India, but people in Bangladesh love foreigners, whether black, white or Asian and try to communicate and help them.

India might also be a similar atmosphere but big cities like Mumbai and Delhi are a lot more cosmopolitan with high numbers of foreign residents, so I can't exactly tell.
