I know they look more Spanish than anything else. I was just being sarcastic, because every-time somebody shows light Spaniards, somebody says they look British or French, which is very funny.

Yeah, very true, like if all British are supposed to be very light, and if not "they look Iberians", whilst Iberians are supposed to look kind of dark, and if not, they "look French or British", typical:D

Many people simply follows stereotypes. Just like some people think that Slavs (Western and Eastern) suppose to be blue-eyed blondes, otherwise they're mixed.

However, if someone creates a topic about Spanish model/actress it is normal, that others will mention other countries, as they already know true nationality. If one actress is Spanish it doesn't mean she cannot look similiar to French or Italian people. It's that simple, so I don't truly understand this crusade.

On the other hand, I think many people assume that Spanish people are just like people from Latin America, totally ignoring a fact, that e.g. Mexicans or Bolivians had an opportunity to mix with native people (Mayan, Aztekan etc.). Spanish doesn't.
