It is funny how many White-Black mixes (which is what the majority of Cape Verdeans are, to varying degrees) can come out looking pseudo-South Asian.

Would not confuse them to be South Asians to be honest. The "darker" elements many south Asians show come from Weddids and other Austro Asiatic bloodlines.
