Hmm no. Looks like it is a French website, I have tried many English-language websites but nothing. Maybe the French website has more records?

This is new, Mc. I don't think I've heard you mention your Czech heritage before.

Not exactly Czech but Sudetenland German.

Haven't I told you before?

Maybe not.

I'd need a Czech genealogist to help me with this part of the family.

I could have some Czech ancestors considering many Sudeten Germans mixed with Czechs. In fact many Czechs today have German names. I would say 75 to 80 percent of all the Sudetenland Germans probably have some Czech blood. Sudeten Germans and Czechs were both Catholics so they tended to marry a lot. Also language wasn't a problem, most Sudeten Germans could speak both languages, I am not sure about Czechs speaking German though.

Yes it's french at least at the beginning but it host many records from other countries (member's family trees).

That's very kind of you, especially considering we were just debating politics :)

I might send you some information through PM

On geneanet, the map of the geographical distribution of the ancestors is badass.

Here mine, to 15th generations :

That's cool! So, you have done your whole family history? Must be interesting having it all down like that. I don't have a complete family history. I have a lot of info but it takes me too much time to put it all in one place.

I tried searching my ancestor's last name on there and I found only some family trees, who had a person with the name in there, but not my ancestor specifically.

No, I haven't finish it, I have difficulties with the family of my paternal grandmother and same with my family from the Ostkantone.

In fact I haven't made any search on my own, I search into the works of local genealogists, when I had all the informations of great grandparents I could easily trace all my ancestors, of course you're never sure if it is real because of adulteries.
