Above is a link to an article just to source the event. Turkey bombs PKK targets in northern Iraq, I'm assuming the PKK militants in northern Iraq are affiliated with those in Turkey. I thought they were supposed to have some form of temporary "truce/ceasefire" with Turkey at the moment, will this now be breached?
I'm sure Turkey finds itself in a predicament, where the US wants to aid Kurdish forces in the fighting against IS, where Turkey would most likely feel threatened with a Kurdish regional power, since they have a strong sense of unity and endeavor for independence.
I'm just making this thread for a discussion, I'm not particularly well-read or well-versed in this subject.
