Classify my father please

Sorry, if I post too much today, but this here is really intriguing to me. My father's family is a mess and since he died we aren't in contact anymore. I really have no clue about his exact ancestors and where they came from. When he was young he was often mistaken for a Turk or Arab by strangers. So, you experts can just fire away your opinions if you like. :) I'm mostly interested in the ethnicity, but also what nationality you would guess?

He was from Germany and all I know is that some of his ancestors might have been huguenots, but I'm not even sure about that. :confused:
