If his ethnicity is just a British Isles/German mix, then I guess he is just exotic looking. I always thought that he was part Filipino or East Asian. Maybe even part Amerindian like his iCarly co-star Miranda Cosgrove (she only claims to be an Anglo/Irish/French mix, but is also 1/8th Mexican). But perhaps he is just a Paleo Atlantid type as mentioned above.
