Romanians and Italians can be similiar but Romanians have the slavic admixture advantage so they are lighter.

Not only that. Romanians and Italians have different ethnic substrates and it's very important. Romanians are pred Dacians/Getians, but Italians are... sth else; anything but not Dacians :) Guess you know better.
And that "lightness" can also come from the substrate peoples' genes, not necessarily from the Slavs.

ROs and ITs can be alike but usually that's only at first sight.
