E-V13 is actually not absent in the Anatolia and parts of the Near East. It certainly is present among the Armenians and Kurds at least although it is not incredibly frequent.

Levantine E1b1b corresponds to Phoenician settlements. It is prominent in Sicily and in a small part of southeastern Spain.
