I have heard different sources of where J1 came from. I have been told that it was in Jordan, then I heard it was in the west bank of the red sea, and I have that it came from the Caucasus mountains. Where do you think they came from?

Also, was the middle east in the neolithic voided with both J1 and J2? I have heard that J1 came into the scene in the middle east during the Iron Ages. It could be an invasion from Egypt.
