How close are Bulgarians to Romanians genetically (face wise)?

I read so many thread where people claim Romanians and Bulgarians are very close genetically. But how close? Is there any way to distinguish between them? I read somewhere that most Romanians are dinarid while most Bulgarians are alpine-med....not sure if true though. What is the defining one racial subtype for each country?
