Scandinavic facial features, pink skin, fair hair and eyes... not by accident Italy is known as the Sweden of the South.

Italian politicians do not differ from the rest of the Italian population.

A typical Italian person.

In short, a inestimable example of the average Italian.

and with a pure Italian last name and probably clustering with Swedes, like all Italians, not with Ashkenazim and Cypriots, hah

Ah funny fellow, he has Italian nationality. He would hold a Italian passport and his wages by the taxpayer as he is a politician. When he was young, he would've had to fulfil his military obligations in Italian armed forces. It's like saying people from Normandy in France are not French.

if citizenship alone stands for ethnic identity, then Mario Balotelli and any Ghanaian or Senegalese immigrant becomes Italian national when he gets the citizenship, right? so they are fully Italian too. also genetically.

the answer is no. South Tyrol Austrians are not Italian. their ethnic identity is German.

what region of Italy do you descend from?

I'm sure he speaks German better than Italian and I'm sure he votes Bürger Union für Südtirol.

My father was from Lombardy.

so you're only part Italian and that part is northernmost Italian, which means also some Germanic maybe
